John & Brenda Emerson Styled Shoot

I have known these two crazy lovebirds my entire life.  I actually call them my aunt and uncle, although we are not really blood relatives!  Wedding season was fast approaching and I really wanted to do a couple of styled shoots so I could not only get some great images to share, but also to have the opportunity to work with some of the amazing vendors here in the Flathead Valley!  I was thinking of who I could ask to model for me and was telling my friend how I really wanted a good looking “older” couple who are still madly in love.  We both said “John and Brenda” without hesitation.  We knew they were the perfect couple!

I remember as a child watching these two work hard as business owners, go through hard family times, celebrate successes and failures, and do it hand in hand.  The love these two have not only for each other, their family, and others, but also their Heavenly Father, was and continues to be a huge blessing in my life!  Their example molded us kiddos into the adults we now are, and the lessons they taught us carry us through even the toughest of situations . They probably don’t even realize the impact they have had on my life, or those around them, because they just love unconditionally and serve others without saying a word!

I hope when I am “older” like these two that my husband and I look at each other with the same fierce love these two have for each other!  Aunt Brenda and Meathead (there is a story there…but I will save it for another time), thank you for going along with my crazy plan and for loving others unconditionally, and putting God above all else in your life!  I love you two to the moon and back!
