Just when we thought we had skipped right over winter here in Northwest Montana, February came in with a vengeance! We have had snow storm after snow storm, with temperatures well below zero for the majority of the month! Even with all the snow, Sara and Jerry were up for the adventure, and we headed into Glacier National Park for their winter engagement session! Don’t get me wrong, Glacier National Park is gorgeous year round, but winter does not disappoint! Cross country skiers flock to Glacier Park during the winter, and I can’t say that I blame them! With less tourists and snow covered trails, Glacier Park has a “narnia” feel! The snow covered trees and fresh mountain air are absolutely breathtaking!
I quit my full time job just over 6 months ago in order to pursue my little “side hustle” full time! Being a wedding photographer in Montana is pretty much the greatest job on earth, and I have been so extremely blessed with amazing couples! I worked with Sara for several years, and am so excited to photograph her wedding day!
You know when you meet people that are just your kind of people? Sara and Jerry are those people! Our engagement session was full of talking of hunting adventures and hiking through thigh high snow without complaint! And let me tell you….it was SO worth it!
Oh….and we can’t forget sweet little Izelee! She is seriously a doll and was such a trooper!
Sara and Jerry, thank you for showing the rest of us what true love looks like! I absolutely loved hanging out with your sweet family!
